Classic Compartments

Besides involvement and enlights re: various types of music and entertainment and temporary
induction into Riverdale Manor Adult Home - 2/6/06 . . . I was experienced in Legislative Research and Policy Development.

For example 1- Legislative Rep.- attended & monitored New York City Council meetings; prepared and submitted background info for select city council meetings e.g. investigated NYC's Shelter System & Home Attendant program. analyzed all legislation emanating from standing committees on labor, rules & social services of the NYS legislature. Reviewed daily governmental publication 7 calendars - ferderal register, nys legislative index, & nyc record. Background. . . reports/memos re:

Reviewed press releases of the governor and the mayor. acted as liaison between labor unions political action departments ny & washington d.c. 2- Political Action Commitee (PAC) - coordinated activities duties included scheduling of meetings, establishing agenda & contacting special guests. Organized & coordinated special projects e.g. lobbying days & marches in nyc, albany, d.c. 3- Research Analyst in Albany with NYS Senate Minority Staff; Intern NYS Assembly Labor Committee.

President of Law Society atJohn Jay College of Criminal Justice CUNY (18 years old). Editor in Chief of 2 Criminal Justice Reviews. Research assist. to Blanche Cook author of Elenor Rooservelt bio.

National Student Association: Chair of Metro Region (representing all the private & public universities in nyc). Invited by National Student Association to represent USA as part of 4 person delegation to former Soviet Union (1975- Kathy Kelly) as part of delegation to the People's Republic of China (1976- David Rosen).

Student Senate-CUNY: Vice - chair for Legislative Affairs & Senior Colleges. Member of CUNYboard of trustee standing committees. CUNY grad. 4-Executive board member of NYS Women's Political Caucus, Co-chair endorsement committee Manhattan political caucus.
5- age 16 interviewed Nixon's Press secretary at White House.

6- Press Laision Supervisor 1980 democratic convention. 7- Various fed, state, local campaigns including Presidential campaigns 8- member of President Johnson phyical fitness team . . .

All the above just samples.
